At 14 years of age FC Tigers was the team that helped me make an easy transition from youth football to the men’s game. The organized and professional training I received under the guidance of Coach Blaise Nkufo for 4 years was instrumental in my development resulting in being called into the training camp of Pacific FC of the Canadian Professional League (CPL) in 2019 and earning an athletic scholarship to the University of Texas, Rio Grande, NCAA Division 1.

I decided to move to Canada to further my studies after attending Juntendo University in Japan. I did not have an expectation that in Canada I would find the professional level of soccer that I played in Japan. After winning the provincial title in 2017 and finishing 2nd at the nationals with Douglas College I joined FC Tigers Vancouver. It was amazing for me because this team was an amateur team with a professional environment. Excellent organization with ambitious players, professional training, world class coaching and management. I experienced a great joy and won many big trophies with this team including the PCSL Championship. I have returned to Japan but I have to say this was the best experience for me in Canada. Thank you Tigers.
